Occasionally, things do not go as planned when quizzes and exams are administered via Canvas. Whether it is an internet outage or personal conflict, getting the assessment back on track may be possible.
- Communication when the LMS is down: When unable to contact students via the LMS, obtain student emails from the roster on the university data system, WWU’s Web4U.
- Web4U – Under Faculty Services, select Summary Class List, find the course, and select Download Class List.

- RESCHEDULE: If wishing to reschedule, wait until access is fully restored to make any arrangements. Note that it is important not to schedule the alternative time for the exam during a period when students might have finals for other courses. When trying to reschedule a synchronous exam be sure to allow some flexibility for those with conflicts.
